Twenty20 Champions League Draw Teams Schedule

New Delhi: The BCCI has finally unveiled the Twenty20 Champions League draw. The tournament will be held in October. In the first match, Royal Challengers Bangalore (India) will take on Cape Cobras (South Africa). The Twenty20 Champions League will have a prize money of whopping US$6 million. 12 teams from seven countries will take part in the tournament.

India will have three teams in the Twenty20 Champions League. They are Deccan Chargers, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils. There will be two teams each from Australia, England and South Africa. West Indies, New Zealand and Sri Lanka will be sending one team each.

While 10 teams have been finalised so far, the England teams will be decided only after the completion of their domestic Twenty20 tournament. The Twenty20 Champions League will begin on October 8 and will end on October 23.

All matches will be played in Bangalore, Hyderabad and New Delhi. The semifinals will be held in New Delhi and Hyderabad on October 21 and October 22 respectively. Hyderabad will host the final on October 23.

Teams:

Group A: Deccan Chargers (India), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies) and England No. 2.

Group B: New South Wales Blues (Australia), Diamond Eagles (South Africa) and England No. 1.

Group C: Royal Challengers Bangalore (India), Cape Cobras (South Africa) and Otago Volts (New Zealand).

Group D: Delhi Daredevils (India), Victoria Bushrangers (Australia) and Wayamba (Sri Lanka).
