Indian batting line up collapsed before fiery Sri Lankan pace attack. India were four down for just 32 runs after electing to bat first.

After Tendulkar, VVS Laxman was also in hurry. He chopped off an outside off delivery to stumps. He was out for duck.

Earlier, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka in the first Test here at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad.
