
The country’s largest two-wheeler maker, Hero Honda Motors, on Monday launched a new version of its premium segment bike Karizma priced at Rs 91,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Karizma ZMR comes with a 225 cc fuel injection engine and is fitted with digital ignition system, Hero Honda Motors said in a statement.
“One of the key pillars of our winning strategy has been to consistently keep introducing new, advanced products and maintaining a balanced product portfolio. The ZMR is set to further augment our steadily growing presence in the premium segment,” Hero Honda Motors Managing Director Pawan Munjal said.
Hero Honda’s product range includes several successful motorcycles that have redefined the Indian motorcycle market across segments, he added.
The new bike will go on sale across the country by the end of this month and the company will target youngsters within the age group of 18-24 years as its potential customers.
Hero Honda is also planning to undertake an integrated marketing campaign involving the print, electronic and on-the-ground activations to promote the new bike.
The new ZMR is the fifth model from Hero Honda
in the premium segment. It currently sells Hunk, Achiever, CBZ Xtreme and Karizma.

The Hero Honda Karizma ZMR Fi will come in new colors, Diamond White, Deep Red, Sapphire Blue & Midnight Black. The motorcycle is expected to retail at about Rs 85,000, around Rs 15000 more than the existing Hero Honda Karizma.

Well i own a karizma…the older one..karizma r…the new karizma really sucks to the core!HERO-HONDA is just minting money from the customers man!just look at that bike…it looks fuckin gross..there is no add on feature to it…come on guys u should have atleast increased the power of the bike…same engine..same design and only graphic upgradation…all in all it is a pathetic bike for anyone to buy for 91000 rupees…its a waste!

Hero Honda has to realize that it has to evolve fast to be ” Above All “. In the zam zmr there are only slight changes in the graphics, a big fairing has been put on & the new zma has PGM-FI. This gives a nice look to the bike but this do any good to the riding pleasure ???
You can get a more technologically advenced, faster & more powerful bike like the P220-DTSi and still save around Rs.21,000. The karizma was launched around yr. 2002(if I’m right), sincethen there have been very minor changes. After 7 yrs. i dont find a good change still. I think only those people will buy this bike who have a personal liking for the zma or have blind trust in Hero Honda.

it is gud bike overall but they could have made it more better in its font view by installing twin headlights like the r15 but performance is ok overall i would give it 3 stars out of five
