GNIDA (Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority) was incorporated on 1st January 1991 under the Uttar Pradesh Industrail Area Development Act 1976. Under this act GNIDA is make several functions to become the Greater Noida a Clean city. The Motto to start Greater Noida Develpment Authority is to make the Noida city into Beautiful Green and Clean city. The Greater Noida Development Authority not only Highlight upon building residential projects but at the same time Intense on infrastructural developments like banks, business offices, recreational areas, as well as roads and bridges. One of the greatest achievement of this development authority of Greater Noida is to make the township completely pollution free.

The main activities of the GNID(Greater Noida Development Authority) are:
